With a CD you get all the music in one package. You get some cover art, and you often get the lyrics as well. It is easy to dump the whole CD into iTunes, so you can have it all in much less time than searching for your favorite songs and downloading them. The downloads may also be poor quality and pirated as well. If you want to save money by downloading, use reputable companies that will pay royalties to the musicians!

I know there used to be sound quality issues when you use compressed files, but I have heard it has gotten to where you really can't tell the difference. One thing for sure, you don't gain any sound quality by compressing, and now with higher download speeds and fairly inexpensive external hard drives with massive storage capacity my feeling is why not just stay with the uncompressed form? I only know of one site that offers uncompressed music downloads and its only a small library of classical music, but if there aren't more it seems likely there soon will be.

It relies upon on the bitrate of the music you get. persist with 192 bitrate or larger and you have gotten a solid sounding record. the better the bitrate the better the record yet additionally the extra effective the same old.
