We're moving and need to get some rubber stains out of the carpet of the house we are moving out of. They come from a casio keyboard that was standing on the floor.

You could try to use a carpet cleaner that uses steam to clean. But if the plastic has already melted and bonded with the carpet i don't think it will come out without ruining the carpet. Sorry

Put ice cubes in a plastic bag and seal it tight then leave it over the stain, you should then be able to "pick it off" keep re-applying if neccessary

Goo gone works well in situations like that or simple green.

try putting ice on it. let it get hard. take a hard bristled brush and scrub it. good luck.
