Imagine urself an Iraqi & the americans came & invaded ur country saying that their intention is to spread democracy in ur country & save u from the brutal Sadam,
Then their soldiers RAPED ur sister just for fun , killed all ur family members & destroyed your house ,then they took u to a jail ,and without a fair trial they started to torture & humiliate u & take pic of it,(there is a lot of similar cases in Iraq&afganistan today cause of america, even if u dont hear about all of it in ur media, but it happens everyday)
If u r in the place of this guy, whont u try to retaliate from anything american ?
and is it fair to call u a terrorist after all that?
and if u will not retaliate, then WHAT will be ur reaction?
Please be fair in ur answer & try to really imagine urself as a human in this very bad situation.

You have a point. What disturbs me though is that the Iraqis are doing the bombing because it is believed to be Holy. I am considerate of the innocent Iraqis as well, and they should not be treated by the American soldiers like how you described them.
Hmm... I bet you read the question on which disaster is worse, Katrina or WTC, huh? Anyway...
In the first place, can't the Americans just mind their own business? Would there be a war if they just left the Iraqis alone? One thing I'd like to know to is, who started what?
Americans trying to spread democracy? or...
Iraqis attacking America?
Hope both countries don't affect other countries and start a WW3. The people of this earth DO NOT need devastation once again.

Lets, see. I come from a country that also condones "Terrorism". It was quite long ago, when we had our last Terrorist-FreedomFighter.
The Russification of Finland, everything was being changed in to Russian standards... Even the language of schools was suddenly changed to russian, and even when a quarter of the population signed a petition to stop the Russification it still continued.
About then, we had a suicide killing of the Russian Governor-General.
Terrorism was also our trumph card in negotiating peace with the USSR. Seeing our defeat we hid catches of weapons everywhere around the country (all of the male population had already received military training), and then we went to the negotiation table. There was no way an occupying force could be in control in Finland.
So, we paid extensive war-reparations and gave away a quarter of our country, instead.

Does this justify murder?
Do you think that Saddam was more merciful than the US. What not attack him. He murdered the Iraqi people for 30 years but no uprising???
If you don't see the difference you are blind. The percentage of soldiers who have caused trouble is so small. The Iraqi people are unable to control the sectarian violence so they blame us.
Maybe they are unable to handle a democracy, without reverting back into tribal mentality. I would think people are beyond that but this is evidence of the contrary.

I would defend my country from all invaders, but I would'nt go around blowing up civilians and little kids. I do believe the things you stated go on in those countries, and that is very regrettable and unAmerican, there are many morons that just stick their heads in the dirt and pretend nothing like that happens, I am not one of those morons, and I am deeply apologetic for such actions, and honestly I don't equate insurrgencies to terrorism like many idiots prefer, but if you attack civilians, especially children, through cowardly suicide bombers, you are a terrorist, regardless of your motives. I don't blame anyone for defending their country, because I would do the same if a foreign power attacked this nation, but I would not do it in the same manner.

Do you live in the UK mate. I don't like what the Americans are doing in Iraq, I don't like there being British troops there either. I really don't mate. But what about Insurgents blowing up kids and families. What about Saddam gasing thousands of Kurds. What about Saddam torturing thousands of people. If you don't like the west mate. Go live somewhere else.

Dimwit go live in Iraq, and yea maybe there is one or 2 cases like that but that not at all like you exaggerated it, but that don't give anyone a right to go blow up innocent people. Keep the war in the war fields. And you go read some books.

In truth a terrorist is simply a man or group who have no other means of fighting back...America uses the word Terrorist real loosely...I don't think anyone who is defending Iraq from Americas illegal invasion is a terrorist that's bullshit and I and all Americans should know that. And this also applies to Israel and the Palestinians

the longer the usa stays in Iraq the more the iraqis are going to attack american intrests.
that is how it works, like it or not.
there is no need for the USA to be in iraq. period.
americans do not understand a simple fact that they are the most hated ppl.

I agree with you 100%! But I don't believe violence is the way whatsoever. I don't agree with the soldiers in Iraq who are hurting innocent people, just out of anger. That's not ok! I believe you have the right to call them terrorists. They are terrorizing another country. But don't retaliate in violence. It takes 2 to tango!

The people I call terrorist are people who hijacked American air plains and crashed them into the world trade center, and pentagon, and a field in PA. And people who bombed the trade center in 93 and the U.S.S. Cole, and the federal bldg. in OK. And the train station in London. You know the bad people who try to kill others because they are not of the same religion or have diff. beliefs. That to me are the terrorists. and I would them that to their face!!!
