Why do people say blondes are so dumb?? that is the only kind of joke they have out there that is like that.. why don't they make fun of brunetts or red heads??

i think it's due to some (NOT ALL) blonde celebrities like Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, and Kellie Pickler. it's all their fault. if they didn't act so "dumb", people wouldn't stereotype blondes.
note: it's true that there are not much brunett or red head jokes. but i've seen in school, that some red heads were called mean names for their hair being red. i've also seen brunetts being made fun of --not because of their hair but because of another reason, such as their weight. thus, there will always be cruel people that will make fun of others. blondes are not the only ones made fun of. Asians, Africans, Jewish, Muslim, overweight, skinny....many people in this world are treated poorly everyday -- NOT ONLY BLONDES.

Some people are dumb enough to judge a book by it's cover. My son was a blond child and he talked in sentences at 7 months. I have known blonds that were in Mensa. What people think is often far off the mark of reality. It takes some pretty dumb people to think that a person is smart or dumb just because of the color of one's hair.

Well.......if you can see my picture I am blonde. So is my sister. One day my sister was across the road from me.....she yelled...."how to I get to the other side of the road?"
I said to her, "I don't know sis, I am already on the other side of the road."
Back to your question.......I don't think it is the blondes that are bumb or clueless. It is the men who's brains turn to much when they are in contact with a blonde. All the blood drains down in to their Youknow. And it is then that men precieve the blonde to be dumb or ditsie. Thus it is not the blonde but the reaction that happens when they are in sight.....they appear dumb because the man has little to no blood fllow to the brain.......& you know how guys are when they are thinking with the wrong head.

i don't know i'm blonde and i create software for computers i'm a Chef and an established photographer. Am i dumb? well i'm not as dumb as Jessica Simpson anyway. Is it fish or Chicken? LOL

well, they think blondes spend more time doing there hair or makeup and they can't be bothered to learn. it's just a stupid joke and i can prove its not true because i'm brunette and i spend more time on looks then knowledge.
