Is it a cocktail dress or a business dress? If it's a cocktail, try a contrasting color, like a gold strappy sandal. If it is business, a boring pump or loafer will do.

ummmm.....well it all depends on the dress......but I would reccomend either brown shoes that are darker than the dress.....or black
