I am late 40's and never had a family. I am educated, financially OK (well, no debts, and I handle my very modest income well ), but I have no husband.
I have always wanted a child and expect that time is running short.
I have a good character, never smoked, no alcohol,no drugs....
I just want t o be a mum.
Is there anyone out there (in Australia) who can let me love a child, raise him/her well and make them feel proud of themself.
I once had a nephew (no longer), and I had him spelling "ornithologist", and drawing birds by the age of four. I can give time and love to a child.

ummmm

as if?????

My goodness..... you would ask a person to give you a child as though a child is thing that can be given or traded....

and you think yourself fit to raise one...

I would doubt that you are even a woman... you write more like a man trying to sound like a woman...

Have you considered Foster care. More and more singles are fostering children these days. It gives both you and the child something. You have a child to care for, and the child is in a safe home and being well looked after. I know that alot of the time you have to give the child back to their parents when the parent is in a better situation, but I know of people who have eventually adopted their long term charge after being in their care for a long time.
IVF is also available to single financially stable women.
