Linear or Non-Linear... I don't care... just time in general.

Time is a social construction. It is a theory. Because we constantly refer to time by using words in language which are unavoidable when referring to time we get a sense of time passing..the power is in the language which has developed alongside human understanding of time, [which may be an incorrect understanding]. Humans and for that matter trees, animals etc. do change and we take this as changing over time because the past and the present seem more real than the future. Noone really knows whether time is reality or evenwhat really is reality anyway. When I'm bored time passes slowly, that's my reality and maybe you're bored now. You're question is extremely interesting though..I look forward to reading the answers.

In order to describe an object's placement in the Universe, you need not only three spatial dimensions, but another dimension -- time. This is because objects in the Universe are not static. They move. The only way this change can be described is if the Universe is described by the 4-dimensional continuum called "spacetime," which was described by Einstein's Theory of General Relativity in 1915. Space and time are intimately related, though in our daily experience, they seem to be separate. This is because effects like time dilation (where time seems to slow in a moving frame compared to the reference frame of an observer) only become apparent at high spacial velocities. However, careful measurements have proven repeatedly that Einstein's Theories of Special and General Relativity are successful at describing the Universe.

Another way to look at it is that all scientific theories are based on observation. Scientists make measurements and propose a theory which is testable and can explain the observations. Time is a quantity which can be measured, and theories can describe our observations, therefore time is real in that sense. Hawking discusses spacetime and other issues in "A Brief History of Time" or you can read his lectures which are on his official web site at http://www.hawking.org.uk/home/hindex.html

yes sure
Well, what i believe you are talking about is bilocation, and i know of a couple of saints that could do it. I am not really sure or whatever but i think that it is only possible through gods power, because this certain saint, Padre Pio, actually grew a mans eyeball back while Bilocating.

If thats IS what you are thinking of, i am pretty sure it is only possible through saintly power, being so holy that god enables you the power, because he used them for good.

If i am totally wrong sorry for wasting your time

Time is relative, as are all things. Sometimes time seems to pass quickly, sometimes time seems to pass slowly. Mechanical and atomic clocks try to place a measure on time, but spirit can travel backwards or foreward through time, making the clocks "relatively" useless, unless you need to get to an appointment. ;)

No.
The whole universe is PHOTONS.
Photons travel at the speed of light.
Remember that as things get close to the speed of light, the time gets smaller and smaller as compare to our time.
So, at actual speed of light the time is zero.
The universe, in the perspective of a photon has a size of zero, and take zero amount of time for a photon to go across the universe.
No joke.
But we are not moving at the speed of light, but the photons that makes up our body is moving at the speed of light.
Ha ha ha, if this dont screw up your mind, ask me, i wil try again.
Lmao.

As a wise man once said - "Time is what keeps everything from happening at once."
Post this in the philosophy section, not the Science section!

there's is no such thing as time. time cant opperate on its own. if u readm on on works of einstien u can find out that in 1 of his 1905 papers he talk abt space-time which are inter related. when talk abt relativity its another thing time differs under different circumstances and varies. they not necessary be correct for example: if there was a twin. one of them was caught in a black hole and miraculously survived after 10 years u would find that he had not age much compared to his brother on earth.
this is called space time or relativity theory both made by einstien in his paper in 1905.
u may email me to ask me more on space time or what books to read up on to get these info.
