I need to make a choice about which prepaid connection to take here in Chennai. But I find there are a lot of schemes and all of them are attractively confusing...

Want I would mostly do using a prepaid connection is that I would make STD calls (mostly); and I would also send messages to people I work with because that is mostly required as per my work here. Considering the the recharge schemes and roaming charges could someone suggest me the most economic package.

Airtel is the best one.. Purchase a new simcard(Budget plan) sms free(Daily rental Re.1) local 60paise for mobiles, Re1 for landlines within TN & STD is Rs.2 for mobiles & Rs.2.40 for landlines.. If u recharge ur card for Rs.30(no talk value) then u can make STD calls for 1.50paise anywhere in India..
