Can you take BBT in your ear?

I know you can chart your temps by taking them orally, vaginally, or rectally; but was wondering about in the ear.

For the purposes of fertility taking your temp in your ear or under your armpit is NOT recommended.

remember that the ear is all ways off a few degrees
