Pregnancy test's are more accurate when they show a positive than when they show a negative so, I think you should go and seek advice from your doctor.
Chances are that it may just be the medication you are on, but when I missed a period but the tests I kept on taking came up negative the doctor said I probably was pregnant (which I was).
If you are refering to your body size, any size of person can get pregnant and unfortunatly no contraception is 100%.
I believe Acompila is a diet pill, and trying to diet too fast can be a cause of missed periods. Unless they are prescribed by your doctor I'd stay away from any diet pills personally.

The drug you are taking for weight loss may be causing the problems with your cycle. I would definitely suggest that you consult with your doctor to have a blood test done to make sure if you are pregnant or not, as the medication you are taking could be a problem if you are pregnant. Also, be aware that if you are on birth control it is possible to get pregnant, as I can speak from experience.
Also, your weight problem can cause problems getting pregnant, but will not stop you from getting pregnant. Stress will not help the matter either, as it will only cause you to either stop your cycle or cause it to go more frequently.
Therefore, before you become too stressed out, see your doctor and have a test done. Remind them of the medication you are on, and that it is important to have results as quickly as possible. Good Luck.

It may be the medication your taking or stress, but have you talk to your doctor about PCOS (PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome)?
You mentioned your irregular periods and your weight, these are some of the factors that are involved with this condition. Talk to your doctor about seeing and endocrinologist. They can explain a little more about the reproductive system and the affects it has on our bodies.
I have been through what your going through some many times that when I was pregnant I couldn't believe it that I took 7 pregnancy test just to make sure, even after having my first ultrasound! LOL
If you are sweetie, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!! and I hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy!!!!!!!!!

The only 100% reliable pregnancy test is a blood test for chorionic gonadotropin, the hormone produced during pregnancy. this can only be done in a lab. Mind - NO test you can buy off your local chemist's yields a 100% accurate result!!
from what you describe, tho, it looks more like you're having a dysfunction, or mb your symptoms are not related to reproduction at all. In any case, missing 2 periods is quite serious. I should contact a hynaecologist or GP ASAP!!!!! Please don't lose more time.
Good luck!

I would think that You could be pregnant
I would talk with your Doctor about your meds and concerns
Or call a pharmacy they can tell you if your medication has anything to do with this
another option is to call your 24 hour nurse line
you will find the number listed in the phone book under your hospitals listing
It is free and you will talk with a registered nurse

Pregnancy tests are not 100% effective, your best bet is to visit your GP and have him take a blood test. Symptoms of pregnancy is sore/tender breasts, funny feeling in lower abdomen, nausea, tiredness (you just want to sleep and you are exhausted all the time), missing periods etc.
I have been pregnant twice and i can tell you that birth control and pregnancy tests are definitely not 100%!

Why would your size matter for getting pregnant? If the tests are negative and you still havent gotten your period all I can suggest is go to the DR and see what they say. I know sometimes stress can cause gaps... good luck

Get to the doctor and have an exam. If you are pregnant, that medication may be harmful to the unborn child. If you are not pregnant there may be other causes for your lack of period. It is so important for us women to stay on top of our female health. Please make an appointment. Take care.
