Invest in a demi - john and turn them into wine.
You would easily find info on how on the net.
A friend of mine's family used to make wine out of everything, even rhubarb, it was all really nice!

Make jelly, jams, pickles, drinks - these are wonderful winter warmers.
My grandfather always made full use of them as felt he was getting something for nowt - overlooking the fact that he had to add sugar etc. Having said that there are many recipes available and it is a pity to see them go to waste.
As mentioned the drink is the favourite.

We've jus spent the weekend colelcting all urs so I know your issue !!
We're stewing the apple and will put it in the freezer.
We'll also make wine, although you'll need to add a fair bit of sugar to cookers for that.
