What is reasonable salary for a project coordinator in the construction field? I took my current position at a lower wage for 90 days. The company had bad luck with prior applicants so they wanted a trial period. 90 days is coming soon but I have never worked for Salary pay before. How do I know they are paying me what I'm worth and how do I protect myself from being overworked and underpaid?

Search Occupational handbook. It will tell you what you are worth.

Calculate your hourly wage by dividing your salary in a pay period by your hours worked.

This will give you a comparison.

When you are salaried, you will not get paid for overtime. There is such things as "comp time." This is time off or days off for work beyond your normal hours.

If you are working more hours for less money without proper compensations, such as comp time, you are being overworked and underpaid.

How can you prevent this...quit and get a different job if it occurs.

It depends on how much you work per week. Project Managers / Coordinators who are experienced should expect pay of 32,000 - 45,000 a year. Divide these numbers by 12 and you'll know what you should expect.

Of course, depending on your qualifications, 45,000+ is more than a reasonable amount. Hope this helps.
