The only way to get very significant improvements are to get a faster connection (speak to our ISP - Internet service provider)

but try also the Firefox browser and the Fasterfox plugin (links below).

It speed up things by downloading (prefetch) links while you read a page.

I suggest you also run a scan for spyware, Spybot - Search & Destroy is free and do a good job.

CClearner does't a decent job in cleanup up th egegistry file.

Both programs are free.

Well the answer is that only your ISP can adjust your connection speed, however your computer may not be fully optimized for the network that you are on. Check out speedguide.net and also dslreports.com, both these sites can help you judge what you would need to tweak. i would recommend going to speedguide.net and downloading their TCP/IP optimizer. The main thing you may need to adjust is your RWIN scale, but before you attempt that use the TCP/IP analyzer first. Both the analyzer and the optimizer are under the menu "Broadband" -> "Broadband Tools". i wish you luck

I doubt this is possible. You need an ISP change, not some programs. Programs do not work. A faster computer would also do the trick.
