Anyway, just in case you want to know: I love Godard, Truffaut, Laughton's Night of the Hunter (best film ever), Amos Kollek's Sue, Ken Loach (not exactly art cinema but demanding), Mike Leigh, Erich von Strohheim, Neil Jordan's In the Company of Wolves & The Crying Game, Derek Jarman, Spike Jonze, John Waters (rather midnight movies, but arty in a way), Andrew Birkin's film version of Ian McEwan's Cement Garden, Agnes Varda, Michelangelo Antonioni, Vittorio de Sica, Frederico Fellini, sometimes Harmony Korine, Luc Besson's Angel-A, early Jim Jarmusch etc., etc., etc.
