I would rather have a job that I like, because God will make sure that I will more than get by. I worked for over twenty years at a job I hated and now I enjoy my job. No amount of money can make up the difference. I would do my job for free and I look forward to going to work. If I would have started to persue the jobs that I enjoyed when I was young, I would be making good money by now and I would not have wasted so much money trying to buy happiness. I have found my joy by having a rewarding relationship with God through His Son, Jesus, first and then all the good things follow like a good marriage and a good home, and a life full of content and rewards.

Had the first, very well off financially, no time for the family or friends. Hated it. I now have the second and I wish sometimes I had alittle more money, but over all alot happier. I don't get sick to my stomach when I have to get up in the morning. Have time to do the things I love. Also feel like I'm doing something worthwhile with my time not just making the company money

Love won't pay your bills, rent and foods and clothes and other comforts of life but money will. So being practical is the name of the game. You just have to learn to like your job or bail out and look for another one which also pays more if not the same. It's a question of adjusting your attitudes and behavior modification.

I'd be willing to go either way since I have mostly had low paying jobs that I hated.

go for the job you love, life is too short to spend it miserable, especially since we spend so much time at work these days.
