Depends what you are after when you get here, you can do the total tourist deal and check out all of Clifton Hill (wax museums, sky wheel, fun houses, horror houses, etc), you can go down by the falls either by boat ( Maid of the Mist) or behind them, Journey Behind the Falls, Spanish Aero Car which goes above the rapids, the Great Water Walk, which goes beside.
You can do the nature deal, plenty of parks,Dufferein Islands to check out some water fowl and birds in their natural habitat, the gorge to go hiking in, Queenston Heights, hiking, picnicking, live Blues on various days of the week.
Wine tours in the next city over, which also has alot of history (Niagara-on-the-Lake). There is a million things to do when you get here.
As for on your way here, if you said where you were coming from, I might be able to help you.
As for the weather the long weekend promises to be a nice one mid to upper 20's which would mean 70-80's. Nights have been getting a bit cool though, I'd bring long pants and a heavier sweater or coat.
Whatever you do once you get here, have fun ;)

Wednesday's weather looks fine - around 20 c. Niagara falls is like a mini vegas. You can see the falls, which takes a few minuites, or you can go into the casions and gamble your savings aways, or see a show. The city has lots of small attractions like Ripley's Believe it or not, or game places. You could go into the tower. Shopping in Buffalo is close by, or you could do a winery tour and maybe do some wine tasting.
