The United States is the deepest, most talented, and strongest team but what is different from previous years, well, take a seat and I'll tell. They have people like Brand (who can control the paint), Anthony (who can take you from any point on the floor), Bosh (who is the human octopus and has skills on both sides of the ball), James (now who needs to explain), Brad Miller (at 7' can shoot a 3, Please), Howard, Paul, and the x-factor Dwayne Wade (Flash). All they needed was a coach and they have it, the great Mike Krzyzewski. So, all the other countries are playing solely for 2nd, 3rd, and so forth.

I'm cheering for Australia, but it will most likely be The United States. However on the womens side Australia has a chance, but United States is still the high favorite and again probably win.

Greece is a strong candidate. Did you see how they played against China? They are a very well structured team with some great players. They are the current European champions as well.
Look out for Theo pappaloukas! What a player!

Men's: USA, though I think Argentina also has a real good shot at the gold.
