It seems like every fifty years or so there is some band of people somewhere that claims to be the "chosen people", and this ends up leading to some sort of massive war. The Jewish people have held on to this belief for a very long time, but the reason some people actually believe it is because of where their religion comes from. If they knew their own religion a little bit better, they might realize that regardless of what they believe, if they are not Jewish they are not God's people and therefore, they are condemned to hell, in the Bible, it says the final number to enter the kingdom of Heaven shall be 144,000. Apparently a lot of Jews are left out in the cold, or rather in the heat.

I think they could have been in the day Jesus was alive. But I'm not so sure today! Wars are not the way God would want his chosen people to act. I don't think there is one certain place, or group of people that are "chosen people" in this world today!

Nope they are the most hypocritical and despised people.
They somehow conned the Christians into believing that Jews are the chosen people and now look at price the Christians are paying on behalf of the Jews !

No. They are chosen only to religious fanatics or those who has mental problems. We live in modern society and not in primitive culture, where people believe in witches and devil possessionss. Jews are worth of hate because of their agnorance and impossibility to be humble like other people are. They feel somehow supremacy toward others (even to Christians). People who walk in such an illusion are dangerous to the world.

Doesn't matter what we 'think'. God made a covenant with Abraham because of his faith. God said He would make a nation of a people who were not a nation. God gave Abraham and his 'seed' the property that Israel claims to this day. The Jews are the offspring of Abraham and they ARE God's 'chosen' people. But... they have rejected the King of the Jews, (which is really 'good news' for us Gentiles!) and they will suffer more for that rejection, but in the 'end', God will establish His throne on this earth and the Jews will prevail. Just watch and see. It's very close.

Makes no difference what I think about their status. If they believe they are it is their choice.
