I hope this Greg Anderson perjury situation blows up in his face. It's confusing as hell but my question is why are so many people doing jail time while Bonds sits out there playing baseball? What's wrong with this picture? Bonds needs to just go away. Like Pete Rose, he cheated and his problems are just beginning.

Bonds will play next but not with the Giants. The Giants have to pay him over 16 million. If has lower his demands he could still play but in the American League where he can DH. There still lots of legal issues he has to face. Once he's cleared from them, he can continue. As much as the baseball world hates on Bonds, the game needs his power and persona to bring excitement to the game.

As a San Francisco Giants fan, I say "God I hope not!" He's been one of the best players of our generation, enhanced or not. But at this point in his career, he's best to hang it up after this year, before he does any more damage to his already tarnished reputation, and before he does any more damage to the Giants chances of actually bringing a World Series title to SF. Take the $20 million that Bonds made this year and turn it toward a few pretty good players, that is what will turn this team around and let it contend for a NL pennant.

I saw an interview where he intimated that now that he has custody he wanted to spend more time with his son who's in high school now, so maybe he'll hang up his cleats at the end of this season.
Personally I think he should. If you can't put out 100% everytime you step between the white lines, you shouldn't go out there.
All the controversy is just going to increase in volume and age is inevitable and relentless. He should quit while he's on top.

Yup, and hes going to play for the Giants. Its a team that gets a huge fan draw to see the possible new home run king and its also the only town where he isn't hated by ALL the fans. Winning is not an organization's priority if there is an easier way to make money.

Barry Bonds's knee is too messed up to play too much longer.

Yeah, he'll move over to the AL to DH. Bonds won't quit until he breaks Aaron's record. I get the feeling that he derive great pleasure in absolutely obliterating the sanctity of the games most hallowed record.

IF he performs, then definite the AL seems in all probability as he can DH particularly than play left field. inspite of the undeniable fact that, i do no longer see every person figuring out on him up different than according to threat the devil Rays or the Royals in an attempt to spice up their attendance.

It would be best for baseball if he would not come back next year.
