Why?

Primarily my family. I enjoy spending time with them, and when life gets tough, if I just gave up, it would hurt them. Though at times it can be tempting. I am a morning person, I wake up everyday and am excited by the day thinking of all the possibilities. If I get blue, it is usually towards the early evening hours--it happens quite often but I have no idea why. Feel great in the morning, slightly depressed by evening. Sigh!

This summer, these are my exact thoughts every morning as soon as i wake up and look at the time on my cellphone.

"Holy crap, i am so late for work. I should really just quit. Then i could actually sleep in everyday and act like a real bum. I mean seriously, this is the first summer i don't have to worry about academics. But instead of having fun, i'm sitting around in an office doing nothing. God, my life is going nowhere. I can't wait until university starts. Then i'll actually be doing something productive. Oh my God! I really have to get up now. I should just quit. But i mean, i'm working for my dad. But still, i swear to God, today's the day something interesting has to happen. Ah sh*t, i hate mornings."

Aside from this summer and just a completely personal response:

I love the idea of new beginnings. Every day is a story untold. And i'm interested in what will happen, what won't happen, who i'll meet, who i won't meet, ect... I just adore the idea of the unknown. It excites me.

The paycheck on the last day of the month. It's a real motivator.

Morning sex. Because no matter how bad my day gets, at least it always gets off to a fantastic start. It's great to let your mind slip back to the A.M. collision with your lover while you're sitting in traffic.
