i started listening to a7x maybe 5 months before city of evil came out. i play drums and really like playing along to the awesome guitars and fast pace double bass beats. i liked waken the fallen, but when city of evil came out, everyone bashed it as being a "sellout". city of evil, in my oppinion, is a good album. maybe not to a true metal fan but that's the thing, they aren't really categorized as metal. they have their own unique sound. does anyone see how musically talented they are besides me?

The only song I like from a7x is Bat Country, the rest is too screamo for me.
They don't "suck" persay, I just don't like screamo... and this question is really inviting the flaming.
If you like a7x then good for you! ^-^ You like it, other people don't. Who cares as long as you do, right?

Sorry man, but I saw them play at the Roundhouse in Sydney a few weeks ago, because I had a free ticket (no way Id pay), and they were atrocious. Boring, sloppy & arrogant. Complete wankery.
I didnt care much for them before, but now, Id rather smear myself in BBQ sauce and go swimming with piranas before seeing them play again.
Having said that, each to their own.
