You have been looking at the sky while there were either street light or other types of lights near you. Go to the dark places and you'll find as many stars as in any other dark location on earth. Try going to Valleys, Secluded beaches. I guess if you are about 20 km aways from street lighting that will enable you to see all the star you wish to. Try visitinng Quriyat, Mazaray. Many other places which also happen to be nice picnic or camping spots.

India is having far clearer sky than the gulf area has. Gulf area is rather surrounded by deserts, so dust & sand is prominent in the sky, leading to vanishing of faintly visible stars. Where as in India, we have lush green forests, which discourage the dust occupying the skies. leading to clearer visibility.
