Is collagen safe for breast or buttocks enhancement?

Guess what, you can probably ask this question to a plastic surgeon for free as well as to the web. Most plastic surgeons have a free consultation with a patient. However, the procedure is generally very expensive and is not covered by insurance.

Chances are you are not going to like the answer as the collagen used to get rid of wrinkles on the face comes from the buttocks area.

Everything has an inherint danger. Talk to a doctor.

It is safer then any implant.

Collagen is basically human fat. Of course it is processed so it won't harm you, some doctors even transplant your own collagen cells. Using collagen is the safest thing I know that a plastic surgeon can do to you. I hope you realized that this is only temporary though, about six months or so. Your doctor will be able to tell you more.

You should see the effects right away since the doctor is injecting the cells right into your area to be enhanced. The collagen should not react with your skin, and the procedure may cause some swelling, but that should drop in about a week. Once again your doctor will know more.

Firstly collagen is only a tempoary filler and for the amount you would need to augment these areas and the fact they may only last a few months, would cost a fortune!

There is a new product called Macrolane, which has been developed especially for enhacing breasts and augmenting the body. It is still in clincal trials at the moment, but you could well see this product being used by doctors some time in the near future for enhancing breasts. However, it is not a permanent filler, but can last for 1-2 years.

For the buttocks, there is a permanent filler called Bio Alcamid that can be used. It is available in the US, but has not been FDA approved, so there are only a handful of doctors offering this treatment.

ITS SAFE, THE ONLY REAL RISK IS IF THE NEEDLE IS INJECTED WHERE IT SHOULDN'T BE AND CAUSE PARALIZATION.
