What do you think would be good way to remember and/or bless his memory.

Thank you for your help.

I should mention that we miscarried the child during our 2nd trimester. The body is currently being held until family members are able to take the remains to the states (we are in Germany and its against the laws to have the remains). SO going to the grave is not a possibility. Losing a child is hard to do and yes it is natural but it helps to see other ways to also do it. We loved our son deeply.

Forgot to mention we found out that Zachary past away during a routine ob/gyn appointment. My wife delivered our son, 2 days later after 27 hours of labor.

Release balloons in his memory. It has been 20 years since my son passed and this is a thing that i have done since then.

Wow I can't even fathom the enormity of that kind of loss. Was there something he really cared about? Maybe you can do something to give back to the planet in his memory. Like if he liked animals volunteer at a rescue location. Or if he cared a lot for human rights volunteer at Amnesty International. If he was really young read to sick kids at a hospital. My friend lost a child in a drunk driving accident and stuffs envelopes for MADD or speaks at High schools on the anniversary of his death every year. I think doing something to help others will honor his life not remember his death. I sure hope this helps. God Bless You and Yours.

I think that you should take out all the things that you had planned for him to wear/play with and give them to charity in memory of him. Also if you can make a scrapbook album where each member of the family writes down a passage, a quotation or a poem about him would be nice.

Oh dear... I'm so sorry. I can't imagine what that must be like. Try donating something to a local charity in his name- maybe help a child in the community have something that he or she would not have otherwise. He is watching you all the time, and would be touched by such a thoughtful gesture on his behalf.

Oh come on you can't be serious, if so I'm sorry..but I mean that should be something that comes to you NATURALLY! We didn't know him therefore we wouldn't be able to tell you the best way to remember him, go somewhere he liked to go, do something he liked to do is my best advice...

if it is not too painful, go to the cemetary, bring flowers to his grave, and just sit down with your wife and talk. i know it sounds silly, but when my grandfather died, i would talk to his grave, and it made me feel better, b/c it feels like they are really listening, and im sure they are.

Visit his gravesite, place flowers, and say a prayer that you can continue without him. God Bless... Teacher.
