No. there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, you're helping others in need of a child and you have the money to buy you things.

Egg donation is a well-established form of assisted conception treatment. It offers hope for a large number of women who previously thought they could never become pregnant and have children. In the United Kingdom at is a legally accepted form of treatment. In some countries, egg donation is not allowed.

It is important that both the donor and recipient couples be adequately counseled, screened and made aware of the psychological, moral and legal implications of egg donation before being accepted onto the program.

At present, there is a shortage of egg donors in the UK and most IVF clinics have waiting lists for 2 years or longer.

(More information at the site listed below--mostly has to do with the UK, but some good general info also)

No I think it is great idea that you have chosen to give the gift of life to those that cannot achieve success. I think that so many parents are getting so discouraged that they have given up and there last option is to get donated healthy eggs for a donor. So I commend you because some of the people that are saying yes you are wrong just might need the services you are offering later in life.

It is certainly not objectively wrong.

It can only be made "wrong" by some external faith- or morality-based norm. For example, it's illegal ijn Britain, so British women have to go to America (or some other country, usually Eastern Europe where an Italian doctor, among others, works) to seek IVF for pay.

It is no more "wrong" than men selling their sperm for pay, which is done every day of the week.

You should consider what it would be like for your child (or children) growing up. I strongly believe that everybody has a right to know where they came from. I don't know much about the process, but it's also a great thing for couples who really want a baby and are unable to have one. I would really look into what your options are, and make absolutely sure you're prepared for whatever may happen in the future. Best of luck.

I have looked into it. I believe it is morally wrong. I believe it is SELLING your child..yes they are not born yet, but without your eggs, this creation of a person would not exist, and for you to sell it off would be the same thing. I feel for the people who want children, however if you are going to buy someone elses' eggs, there is adoption for that.

Well it is such a wonderful thing in how it sounds but giving your eggs is just the same as adopting out your own child. The difference is you can give more of your kids away in egg form. Carrying someones own flesh and blood is one thing but I could never do that . I do not trust anyone with my kids and that is who they would be. take care~MADD
*the lady with Ishmel got to keep her child only lent her body which is still a problem to this day.

Do you really want to have on your conscience that you could possibly have multiple children running around out there? First off you need to ask yourself how attractive are you really? Or maybe you should ask someone else. Would you better this awesome country that we live in by adding a few attractive people or would actually just be disappointing the family that received your egg?

Are you gonna give your eggs (transplant) to other people for goods ?
or just lend your eggs for 9 months, so you could pregnant for other couple's baby ?

what is the motivation ?
if your motivation is based on money, then you never appreciate your body. You never appreciate what God gave you.
But if you do it because you care to other people who can't get pregnant, how noble you are.

My suggestion is, don't transplant your eggs,
you could lend them.
don't know about the law though.

i don't think it's wrong at all. well, maybe the fact that you're getting money for it is kind of messed up, but i don't see a problem with DONATING your eggs. i don't like how religions forbid you from doing stuff like that; it's something you have that others want, so why not give it to them? it's the same as donating hair to kids with leukemia.
