You question is a very general one. You need to specify a few things first,
1.You want to be a manufacturer or a reseller of anybody else's product?
2.How much max/min money can you start with?
3.What is your area of expertise, qualification/exp. wise? OR are you open to any field, up to the time that business has profitability value.
4.What is the kind of return you are looking for in the first few months of your business? (Around 10% will do?)
5.Which city and what sort of an area in that city are you living in?
6.How many helping hands are there in your immediate family, in case a need should arise, or are you alone?
First answer these questions broadly and then I can suggest you something in further detail.
I can, at the moment, personally give you at least one offer to market, as a dealer, a waterproofing chemical, which is inevitably used by anyone and everyone who is constructing his house. It's a construction line business with a starting investment of just around 10,000/- only, with a sure return of 10% from the first month's working itself.
I am already doing it since 6 months now, so I know what I m advocating. There are other similar ideas as well, but first you need to answer the above questions as well. All the best and welcome.
