Firefox by far... It's leaner, meaner, and trimmer in every way.

Netscape used to be the FireFox of it's heyday, but now it is an overbloated shell of it's former self. In fact, Firefox and Netscape are both developed from the same Mozilla Gecko engine but Netscape has a lot of excess baggage that FireFox doesn't so it's a lot slower than it needs to be for reasons beyond my comprehension.

Yes, Netscape was great back in 1998 but once AOL got ahold of it it's been all downhill from there.

Firefox. It has better security & is compatible with just about any website you're visiting. Netscape has too many issues, even though it's been upgraded over the years. I use Firefox mostly & my IE browser when I'm doing research or other double browsing tasks.

I have tried both, so probably Firefox, but I really don't like either one. I would rather have Internet Explorer 7 Beta3 optimized by Yahoo! than either one of them. Internet Explorer 7 Beta3 optimized by Yahoo! makes Yahoo! Mail load really fast. I didn't like Internet explorer 6 very much but Internet Explorer 7 is a great browser. Firefox doesn't work very well with Yahoo! Mail, and has other problems that I won't go into, but if you want you can read about below. I think the best and fastest browser, and my favorite is Avant.

I used to use Netscape, but after hearing about Firefox I thought I would give it a shot, and it is hands down better than Netscape, it's easier to use and it's got better security

Although neither is trouble free, I prefer the newest version of Firefox (1.5.0.6) to Netscape 8.

I must concur with the Opera recommendation, however. I use Opera for about 95% of my web browsing.

I don't know from netscape, but firefox so far exceeds internet explorer that it's just amazing, and it is easy to use and adapt to when you switch. I highly recommend firefox.

Firefox is built on the award winning Mozilla Platform which is somewhat realted to Netscape.

Firefox is better in terms of user interface, management and speed plus above all... HIGH SECURITY.
