We got into a huge argument about this the other night...i need to know what yall folks think!!!
1. Andre 3000....he is creative and has transcended the art much like Paul McCartney and the beetles did for rock!!
2. Jay - Z - i don't like hom, but he has talent and flows for days!!
3. Tupac - He's not really dead!!
3. Biggie - forever tied with Tupac, what better story line could be written
5. Big Boi Yes I am biased to Outkast, but feel he is just as talented as Andre!!!
Hon mention - Eminem - can't argue with his success or lyrics, can verbally mezmorize a listerner with is criptic flows and anologies.
Can please only educated hip hop fans reply!!

1. Tupac- he is dead
2. Outkast- changed the whole hip hop game
3. Master P- took #4 to another level
4. Luke/2live crew/poison crew- started the southern hip hop
5. Jay-Z I dont like him either but he is a musical genuis
Hon mention- Trick, im a Florida boy and he has been holdin it down for the south for a while!
Biggie was good, but he didnt influence hip hop that much
Eminem is lame all he ever talks about is killing his ex and his stupid daughter, alright your the first white rapper to last longer than one CD, but let that **** go.

I'm going on a couple things, but really top 5 is hard. Big L was on the come up, he would have been up there.
oooh, see after seeing some others top 5's, Celly Cell...Snoop (although, is he a singer now? guess that's the pimp in him)....Brother Lynch....Rompilation was tight....there is no way to say who's the best, but I go with who puts out an album with multipul tracks which make me listen over and over or ones who make you think...
