i am not sure i understand the question. i will take a swing. friends of opposite sexes can travel. i am not sure were you are going. in some cultures, they may think you need to be married to be in the same room. i am of the "harry met sally" thought that guys only keep friends with girls for sex. if you are a guy trying to do that on this trip for the first time, you may find yourself in some trouble. good luck.

The sentence U posed is right... But the friends group should have homogeneous gender, else it will really lead to problem ultil it is preplanned.... When the group is only girls then heavy care is needed in all means there should be a proper head to guide them. Care is more important then enjoyment.

Yes this one side whereby a man leaves his routine life and work ( sometimes hard work) to relax . However other sides is to see and meet other people and places and enrich your knowledge of the world.
