It depends in the jurisdiction where they live and on how mature the child is. A pregnant 17 year old would likely be emancipated while a pregnant 11 or 10 year old would not. Allowing 10 and 11 year olds to stay pregnant is child abuse in my book. They are far too immature physically to be pregnant and not mature enough psychologically or intellectually to decide for themselves.

It varies from state 2 state (If that's what your asking) Some states the child becomes emancipated the moment she becomes pregnant.

If you asking a our personal opinion. I don't think its right I think the mother should bring up the options and ultimately let the child choose again depending on the age of course 10-11 its different from a 14+

Abortions should always be the last choice..its never right to make your child have an abortion because in the long run ...lots of hate could build up....but consider adoption an open adoption..something...remember your talking about your child...its what is best for her but communication is the key,,,,not angry arguements ......good luck...

That depends on the state the parent and child reside in. Abortion laws go by the laws of individual states.

Absolutely not. It is illegal for a parent to force their child to abort their baby. If you or someone you know needs help, please go to a pregnancy care center in your area. They can give you referrals for financial, medical, legal, and housing assistance; free ultrasounds; free maternity and baby supplies; pregnancy, parenting, and adoption information; counseling and emotional support, good advice, and whatever else you may need. All of their services are free and confidential. You can find one near you here:

No, I think that any parent who would want to force their child to commit murder is disgusting. The pregnant person, young or not, is the one who has the living person inside of them. They are the one who will have to live with that loss forever. FOREVER. Encourage your child to speak to an adoption agency.

you can't force anyone to have an abortion, whether they are a minor or not, you can't force anyone to do that. personal opinion, i think you are an aweful parent if you are trying to force your child to have an abortion, i feel sorry for your child having a parent like that.

Legally No!! But the parents can use anything basically to get you to want to do it, like emotionally abusing you or taking things away, I have even heard of parents beating their kids which is disgusting.

By law I think it might, I'm not sure, but to do it without the mother and father of the baby wanting to is cruel, horrible, etc.
Better said: Abortion itself is cruel, horrible, etc...

yes, they can. but they have to be really thick to do such a brutal thing coz remember, having an abortion means ending someone's life, though that someone is just an embryo
