And how does a person get one ? What kind of problem(s) does it
create ?

Yeah, I got a fist at my nose, hard. About
6 yrs, ago, and ever since then I had major
chronic rhianitis. And now I have serious
allergies and asthma, due to the allergies.
It keeps on a rollin.......So I really needed to
know if I could have gotten it from a fracture
and then developed the allergies, cause of
the D Septum ?....I just dont understand
why this came on a few months after the
punch.....He's getting his, so don't feel
sorry for me.....I'm ok. Just wondered!!!

busted septum,so to speak,I got mine from too much toot.I had to have major surgrey.You can also get that from chronic sinus infection.Peace!!

The nasal septum (a wafer of tissue behind your nose and in line with it) deviates to the left or right of the midline. You're born with it. causes breathing problems

the septum is the area of skin/tissue that is between your nostrils inside your nose. if it is deviated, that means that it goes more to one side or the other, rather than being straight and exactly in the middle. most people who have it were born that way. you can get it from an accident or injury. most people have no trouble, but it can cause breathing problems and snoring.
