It's a dwarf planet which is not considered to be a planet in the same sense Earth and Saturn are for example. It was recently changed by a group of astronamers in Prague. The reason it lost it's "Planet" status is because of it's size, distance form the sun and slow orbit around the sun. As well, if Pluto kept its status, it would leave the door open for hundreds (3 already discovered and named) to join our solar system as planets.

Due to its eccentric orbit, small size which has prevented it from clearing other heavenly bodies from its immediate neighbourhood, Pluto is no longer considered a planet. It's now classified as a dwarf planet.

Pluto is a Dwarf Planet as it
a) is not big relative to other planets and their moons
b) has a very irregular orbit (in fact, it has not left Neptune's orbit since its discovery)

Pluto is a DWARF PLANET.

It is too small. It also does not have a clear orbit and its moon Charis is almost as big as it is.

Yes. It revolves around the sun. If it revolves around our sun, then it is part of our solar system. Moons revolve around planets. Other planets revolve around other stars.
