I haven't followed Indian politics really closely, but on the international front, Singh has appearantly been doing quite well

-relations with Pakistan are improving much more than in the past.
-he has finally brought the Americans to India's side (after 60 years)
-the Indian economy continues to boom, does it not?

what's the problem? does he get the sh*it kicked out of him in Parliament? (So did Mrs. Thatcher, but in the end she turned out to be one of the best PMs in British history.......)

No a weak leader is no good.People should be managed by a strong leader and a good policy for prosperity of the people as a whole in a fair government.The strong prime minister should be assisted also by strong ministers and supported fully by the parlia
ment. and the whole people.
