Something like that can be a dangerous gift. Everyone can recall of stories or movies where someone gets one two three or more such wishes, and of course blows it every time. I think that pretty much anything you wish for would end up causeing some untold problem somewhere else. Ask to end poverty, and either you flood the market with too much money and have a depression, or make money dissapear and have bartering again. End world hunger and you have either so much food it all rots and we die of disease, or population booms to the point of total overcrowding. You could do that with almost any wish...

But if you end up asking for something like the end of the world, or for Jesus to return, or something along those lines, then you might have a chance at making the world a better place without messing something else up at the same time.

Unless you asked for a peanut butter sandwhich. Those things are good. Doubt that would cause enough chaos to ruin the world too.... I'm hungry, i'll be back...

Hmmmm... That the world would have perfect empathy maybe? I'd have to think about the ramifications of that tho. What would we lose if we understood each other perfectly, or even just a little bit better?

Can't remove hate, or else it would ruin love, likes/dislikes, differences, emotion, etc... Wishing for perfect peace is against my existential beliefs that change and upheaval produces passion, evolution/positive change, and a meaningful/active/awake life. The return (or whatever) of Jesus (or whomever) would only help some... Personal gain would be selfish and irresponsible...

I guess I'll go with empathy.

Beatle's song "Imagine"....that's one wish....to grant everything imagined in that song...
Imagine - John Lennon
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky

Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there's no country
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
living life in peace

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one

I would wish to have the power to control and dominate the entire world. I would enslave all the rich, powerful, and evil people from the past world for generations, and create a utopia around the entire world, but would clear out all of the US and make it my home. I would be known as "Noregr the Great".

An end to poverty. Many of the problems in the world are from the rich oppressing the poor, and the poor struggling to free themselves. If we could be rid of the poverty, we would end many civil wars, everyone would be able to afford health care, starvation would end, a lot of crime would disappear, and we could concentrate our energies on other issues which could benefit mankind, like ending pollution and resolving those wars and other conflicts that still remain.

I would want to know how to reach other planets with life. Like the knowledge to build a spacesphip, and to travel easily to other planets.I would of course give this info to someone that could tell the whole world ( After I built my ship). Then, whoever didn't like earth anymore, could leave. I think that would be so awesome. To travel through space and see other beings.

I'd wish that everyone would love each other the way they wanted to be loved. I think that would solve a lot of problems.

I'd give a big wish for telepathy.

If we could let people know what we are thinking (selectively) then a lot of problems would be solved.

This is a really good question! I guess I would wish for everyone to open their hearts to God and his undying love for us. Only through him can our world be salvaged. So many people in our world today have lost their faith in him and that makes me incredibly sad!
