there are many ways to learn English. First, go to school to get the basic. Second, once you get your basic, expand your learning space by reading books you like as well as English news papers and magazines. Third, listen to English radio broadcast preferable the Voice of America frequently. Forth, make friend with some English speaking persons to practice your spoken English. Follow these steps per severely then you would certainly make progress.

Which one are you trying to learn? Spoken or written English?
You can learn by reading books. Better yet, try to look for a tutor or a conversation partner who can help you by practicing English. A tutor can help you in getting the right grammar usage and enrich your vocabulary. Go to a special class where they offer english course,keep on reading english articles,speak also in this language

The Cretans telling you to leave the country may have a point. If you wish to learn to speak English properly don't listen to the "merkins". If you would prefer to speak without an accent I would recommend attending Oxford.

Try going to a class/ or school were they teach you how to speak English........or sometimes there's classes online that teach you how..........hope this helps

make friends with ppl who speak english and stop speaking your language when u go out somewhere. read books...they help a lot
