today i waz playing football and i hit someone pretty soft and my hand hit their pad or sumthing but it really hurts down the middle of my hand and the middle of my palm it is swelling alot? any advise beside cold water/ice?

The best advice you could receive is "ice".

I adhere entirely to a RICER format with my players.
Rest Ice Compression Elevation Referal.

ice compressed against your hand for 15 to 20 minutes at a time
every couple of hours for 72 hours (3 days)

And - go see a doctor.

It sounds a little like a stress fracture - I'd have to see it.
I'm not a doctor.
BUT - if I was your coach, I'd limit your practice to include an ice session at practice so I know it's being cared for properly...
then keep an eye on your progress in the game.

You have to be careful of numbness and infection with that type of injury. It is best to get medical advise if there is any further physical discomfort.

A splint may be needed.

get it xrayed you may have broke it
