You can't see the blood in your body if you want to see you will need to cut a part of your body. God is all around you need the technique to see him! you will find plenty of spiritual books which gives the technique to see, feel and realise God!

you are equpped with senses capable of percieving only those things which are finite god is in all ways infinite therefore you cannot sense or percieve him in his entirety you may if you are lucky (like saul) see a very minute part of him manifest itself in a finitely percievable way. dont spend your time looking to the sky for him by the way did you know turkeys drown from this very same behavior during rain?

Oh, and be glad you can't see him. Adult people (and probably kids too) who can actually see their imaginary friends are usually in need of professional help.
