"Bricks are the best materials for building houses because....."
This is qualitative measurement as it stresses the qualities of bricks and brick houses. It lists reasons for your decision bot pro and con for bopth bricks and alternate material.

"you need 23543 bricks to build a house ....." is a quantitative measure as something is measured in a literal way.

The car was going very fast..........Qualitative
The car was going at 100 miles per hour.....Quantitive.

"Qualitative Measurement" is somewhat of an oxymoron, since measurement implies a quantity. "Qualitative" means descriptive without giving values. So if you describe something in terms of overall shape, color, etc. you are using qualitative terms, and there is no measurement involved. A particularly good example of the difference is in chemistry, where in qualitative analysis you will determine what the components of a material substance are, but without finding out how much of each component there is. In quantitative analysis, you measure the actual weight, volume or percentage of each component.

Quantitative measurements deals with numbers in a continuous scale while qualitative measurements deals with attributes.

a quantitative measurement is that which specifies the amount or capacity of a certain thing while a qualitative insists on how useful or productive the thing really is.

quantitative relates to some type of number, such as 2 seconds or 4 objects.
qualitative refers to the state that the experiment/object is in such as color, i.e. blue. whether the object has moisture condensing. Or if its hot or cold.

quantitative measurements are in quantifiable numeric form. e.g: His height is 190cm.
qualitative measurements are usually expressed in non-numeric form. e.g: He is tall.
