I used to used aluminum bats and then I learned I was cheating myself in using them. Think of an aluminum bat like an oozy machine gun; you can hit the baseball on the fists and still hit a home run and believe me being jammed many a times I did. However with a wooden bat it's like using a single shot-gun. Where making contact with the bat head and the baseball are crucial to the balls trajectory and placement. That's why it is so impressive to see MLB players hit home runs at an alarming rate; they have to make perfect contact with the baseball. I have really improved my hitting as a result of using a wooden bat. It can be frustrating at first, however it is well worth it when you drive the ball to the opposite field with a wooden bat and your friends look on in amazement. So...try using a wooden bat and see the difference in your game!

I like to use aluminum bats when I play,
but I like to see the pro's use the wooden bats because the sound
is just so awesome. It sounds great! : )
That's just another reason I love baseball!
Great question!

I prefer aluminum bats, but the sound that a wooden bat makes when you hit the ball, in my opinion, is satisfying.

wood because of the harder core aluminum has holes in some bats and felt it after. With wood the swing and the sting are minimal

Wood. Aluminum bats hurt your hands when you get a hit.

Is this question for real? It sounds like the type of question that someone who doesn't know or respect the game of baseball would ask. Oh, oh, it was asked by a Yankee hater.
That makes sense, then.
