I have the wireless router setup, with shared files, and my printer. What I can't figure out is how to use a program on my desktop computer from my notebook computer. What do I do?

The easiest way if using Windows Xp is to use the Remote utility built in.

If not you can use such programs as Remote Administrator really easy to use. Allows you to have full control of another machine or view only status.

you can use "rlogin " for this purpose . To excute a program in a remote PC you need to get the user permission for the program.
