why each time im saving my attachment like (.jpg) i got a different name ?

Question

i joined several groups and they are sending a pictures but ,when i want to save it
1-right click
2-save as
3-it gives me adifferent name than it showing in my attachment .
like the picture is named 1.jpg when i save it it showing other name (tn)
all the time

You gotta be clearer with your info. Names don't get changed automatically. Must be something you are doing...
Your attachment? of what?

I am having the same problem.
The pictures show in the message as attachments.
I have two different accounts. One will let me right-click on the attachment and save the picture in it's correct format and size.
The other account will only save it as a thumbnail, or "tn".
I looked at all the settings and they appear to be the same for each account.
If I forward the mail from the one account to the other, I can save the image properly.
I have been looking for an answer and so far haven't seen any explanations or resolutions.

You did not state your questions clearly enough for me, so let me review "save as"

When you download a picture and are asked if you want to open or save, click save.

You will get a window where you have to specify:

1. Save in: the directory where you want to save (use the up-dn arrow)
2. Filename: in the box, give it a name
3. Type: cl the down-arrow to select jpg
