Just wanting to see what all mothers should have when you bring a newborn home. I have made lists but it just feels like i should ask for advice and help. This will be my first baby, and i just want to be relaxed and prepared when my baby gets here. so i wouldnt mind seeing lists of other woman who have had children who have some good ideas or things that i may not have down on my list. GOD BLESS ALL AND THANKS!

First off congrats. Children are amazing. Second make sure you have lots of diapers, wipes, pj's, undershirts, bibs, sterilized bottles, I feel a crib or bassinet, I didn't sleep with my child I heard horror stories of years later the child is still sleeping with parents, blankets, swing, bouncer they can lay in their bouncer during the day they are wonderful inventions, rattles, and make sure you have lots and lots of love. Dont forget to child proof the house it only takes a few months before they are trying to stick there fingers in sockets and open cabinets. Dreft laundry soap.

Be a mother is a holy gift given from God to women.congratulations!!!!!!!.Is good idea if you have already the list or the name for you baby. What you need first,is to say thank to God,for give you the opportunity to be a beautiful mother, with her beautiful baby. Then you need to relax, your baby will be born good, and healthy. God bless you, and your beautiful baby. There are not more happiness in this life,as the emotion, and happiness we experiment, when we become fathers and mothers.God bless you and your baby every single day in your life.I think in the internet, you can find anything you will need for your baby.

Car seat. Diapers. Wipes. Pj's. Lots of laundry soap, mostly for your clothes you'll be suprised. Socks Blakets. If your bottle feeding formula bottles with different kinds of nipples. If you are nursing then lots of nursing pads. Bassinet. The list really can go on and on but if you have the basics then you'll be ok. You can always send you guy out to get what ever you need once you get home. I was so worried my baby would not have anything to play with. Silly me all she did for months was eat sleep cry and poop!! Congraulations of the baby. Relax everything will work out.

If you're going to be breastfeeding, get a Boppy pillow. They're horseshoe-shaped and great to use.

Also get a pack of cloth diapers. I've never used any of mine as diapers (I only used disposables) but they are handy all-purpose clothes. Good for burping clothes or for any messy accidents that happen with babies.

And a clip strap for the pacifier. More than one preferably, in case one needs washing. Very helpful in not losing that binky because you'll be forever dropping it.

Just some ideas.
