I'm sure there is resemblance to our world. I don't think it would be very comfortable if there wasn't. And no, I don't think you pray all day long. You should pretty much be able to do what you want as long as it's not immoral. There shouldn't be any need for food or sleep (or toilets for that mater) because you won't have a body in the sense of the way we have them on Earth. And as the Good Book says, "there shall be no pain, or sickness, or death and he shall wipe away every tear from every eye".

Earth is said to be a reflection of Heaven. The Christian heaven is reserved for those who accept the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. Sorry, no one else allowed. But everyone has a chance to accept or reject the invitation.
According to the Bible men and women are not given in marriage. I haven't found anything about propagation. I have found references to eating, running, worshiping, various sorts of recreation, there is no darkness, no pain and no sorrow. The references are scattered throughout the Old and New Testament.

"Heaven" (which I don't actually believe in) seems to be a very boring place that is very clean and white where everybody sits lobotomized on straight-backed chairs. There is no lust, which is unfortunate because that's one of my favorite sins, and there is no sex. There is no hate, passion or any fiery emotion whatsoever. There is no pain, and thus there is no art. You cannot destroy, and therefore you cannot create. Everything is homogenized, everything is repetitive and everything is bland and numb. In heaven there is no life.

If there is I bet it's different for different people because I heard in this book about the native's name for heaven: Happy hunting ground. When I read that it made more sense.

It is an imaginary paradise..
Whatever you imagine paradise to be...
To some, heaven might be a magic garden with 72 virgins...
To one of those virgins, that might be hell...
It's all a matter of perspective...
