its all legal unless something happens and one of the parties want to press charges against one another.. but I've always heard 16 is legal consent.. which means if they are 16 which is old enough to drive and handle the life of other people on the road and themselves that they are old enough to make rational decisions unless of course they are unfit to do so mental wise.. then that is a whole different story

none believe me i know i was 18 and dating a 16 year old girl her parents didn't care but the state picked it up no matter if the parents didn't press charges the three year thing is just weather it's a misdemeanor or a felony under 3 years a misdemeanor over a felony

YEA 3 YRS IN MOST STATES...BUT IT DEPENDS ON DIFF SITUATIONS... FOR EXAMPLE: IF THERES MORE THAN A 3 YR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE COUPLE AND THE PARENTS KNOW AND AGREE THEN MORE THAN LIKEY ITS STILL LEGAL
