I don't know if it's 'easier', but a lot of people want others to think they're intelligent and sharp, etc. so they like to argue & 'doubt' everything so as not to seem naive or 'stupid'. Positive, optimistic people are perceived as less intelligent - but they're definitely not. They also live longer, are better adjusted, recover faster from illness & life's little setbacks.
Which do you think is wiser? Which attitude do you think gets you farther in life, being negative or positive?
;-)

James 1:3-Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
If people do what they know and believe to be right, to be just, to be Holy, then according to this scripture, it will cause them to develop some patience. But unfortunately theese day people do not have any or much patience and their not always trying to do what right. If you read the bible closely, you'll see the odds are always against God (Jesus Christ), but He always comes out on top. S basically, it's easier too do wrong becuase you dont have be patient. For example: It's easier and quiker to demolish a building in an few seconds than it is to have to build a building in a few month or years. Again, the bible points out the answer to this question in that scripture above; evil is quicker and requires no patience; doing good on the other hand while definitly more satisfatory to God and to ourselves it's slower and will develop patience.

It really is not. Everybody has a white dog, positive and a black dog, negative. It all depends what one you feed the most. the one that gets the most pos. or neg. will get the biggest and have big factors in your outlook on life. I suggest trying to be putting out as much love as possible so that is what you will be getting back. Try to starve the black dog. the same love will eventually do that.

Because hearing the dirt is a lot more exciting than hearing the good. The good stuff is boring to people for some reason. Believe me, I've pondered the same thing more than once. And still haven't come up with a good explanation. But hey, I guess that's just life. We deal with it as best we can and move on! Have a good one!

No need for the commitment, energy or thought that a supportive, positive attitude requires. Negativism is a lazy person's way out of things.

Because it's easier to pick out what is wrong than look for what is right. We're conditioned to expect the worst.

Being negative is more fun than being positive... I guess that is what most people think. I don't, I'd rather use my energy being positive.

It's our nature. It's easier to frown than smile. It takes effort to be positive.
