If you just use these three in the morning to take care of your face, please tell me how it works for you, if you have clear skin, and what brands/combinations you use! Thanks!

Yes i do it in the morning and at night, and i have like a perfect complexion. but i also make sure i use spf at least 15 to go out in the sun, no matter if its cloudy or what, and i dont use pro-activ like most of the comments above me, i use this in the morning:
1) aveeno exfoliater cleanser
2) loreal alcohol free toner, vitamin C
3) Olay SPF30 moisturizer

then at night i use: any kind of make up removing cleanser, the same toner, then Night Cream anything by olay.

I SO don't believe you have to have a three-step routine, ot ANY routine, except what you find that works the best for you! That's just marketing--a way to part you from your money. That doesn't mean there aren't good products and not-so-good ones, just that you really have to seek them out for yourself.

I do have clear skin, and at 38, I'm often taken for 10 years younger. And I'm not beautiful, but i do take care of my skin. Sunscreen is #1, of course; SPF 15 at a minimum, every morning of every day winter and summer. Drink lots of water; don't smoke. A gentle cleanser (I use Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser); any good mild lotion (Cetaphil for example); then I do use one "specialty" product that I love, DHC Velvet Skin Coat, before I put on makeup. It doesn't do anything lasting for your skin, but does it ever make it feel soft to the touch, and makeup goes on beautifully on top. But you can only get it through mail order, which is a hassle! Except for that one product (maybe!), I'd say don't buy expensive department-store stuff unless you've tried it and know you like it. There is no "genie in the bottle", but there is good stuff in the drugstore if you just hunt around and compare, and the priciest stuff in the department stores isn't necessarily the tiniest bit better. Don't let anybody tell you that such-and-such a product is better just because of the name or the price tag

All the best!

Yes, but I usually do my routine at night. I have tried Clinique's 3-step system, Estee Lauder's skin care, Mary Kay and Bliss.

I think right now I like Bliss the best, but I keep coming back to Clinique. I think most of the quality brands work, it's just what you like the best and that you do it each day.

When I skip a few steps, I notice my skin gets dry. When I do all of the steps, regularly, it helps my skin look/feel healthy.

What I do is use proactive, then I use a dermatologist prescription for acne spot treatment, if you follow the 3 step system 2 times a day it works 100%, but you have to do it 2 times a day

Right now I am using Proactiv. Clinique also has a great 3-step program. A less expensive option from those two is L'oreal's pure zone system, which yuou can find at Target and Walmart.

first i start by taking a small towel. i wet it with hot water then squeze the water out. then but the damp warm towel on my face to open my pores. then i wash my face with any kind of soap except liqued hand soap and dish soap. after that i use Biore cleanse deep clesing pore strips. you just put on a couple of those and keep them on for 10 - 15 mins. after you do thatuse Mineral Rich SPA mud mask with dead sea minerals. that stays on for 15 - 20 mins. then use Proactive Solution cleanser 1 (if your face is really bad use extra strenth formula). then use Proactive Solution toner 2 (if your face is really bad use extra strenth formula). to finish it off use Proactive Solution refining mask combination therapy. the mask stays on for ten mins then is washed of with warm water. this works SOOOOOOOOO well. My face is as clear as a baby's face!!!!!!!

i agree--you don't always need the 3-step routine. just find what works for you...i know it can be annoying because its all trial and error, but when you find what works, it's great! i personally like cetaphil's gentle cleanser. you can either wipe it off with a soft towel or wash it off with water. i find that when you just wipe it off, it doubles as a lotion and leaves your skin super soft.
