Building a website is like cooking a good batch of fishsticks. You don't want 'em too soft, sticky, or gummy. Keep that in mind while building your site.

Main objective: bring in more business and, ultimately, increase revenue. This is achieved by displaying a good web "presence" for the company (explaining what it does, what it sells, how it does so), and thereby luring potential customers (and also future employees).

Advertising, giving the consumer a better perspective of the companies goals, believes, products, etc. Reduce incoming calls for questions which leaves employees more time to perform other duties. And ultimately to stay competitive. Everyone else has a site so why not you?
