It is getting confusing just what peoples use English as their first language. Many are bilingual and it is very difficult to tell if the native language or English is the first. Many in India learn English from day one. Same in many parts of Africa. Europe is fast changing to English but for many English is the second language or even the third. English is used extensively in all nations. English now is spoken by more people than any other language. No Chinese is not because there are several languages in China not just one. It appears as though English will become the first language for many more in the near future. People have already named most of the nations speaking English as first language.
