No one gender should make more money than the other, they should earn it. Your question is not clear, but I'll bite.
I have always thought that women; as minorities have been prejudiced against for many years in the workforce. It stems from the fact of the machismo syndrome in many males, with many excuses and many clever ways of disguising the intent to appear more knowledgeable or powerful than a woman. Most of these type of men are afraid of women and their potential and feel threatened by the mere fact that there are many bright women out there. Tom Lykis (spelling?) often talks about this in his talk show but always focuses on the demeaning side and uses this to get ratings of course. You would be surprised how many male fools call in and spill their 'pea sized' brain ideaologies on the air!
I can almost guarantee some in this forum will make rude remarks with regards to my opinion and not one of them can substantiate their 'blah,blah,blah' without including male workmates that are woth crap and still get lots of money. The only thing males do is bawl and cry like babies about so and so and how they are going to tell the boss, and they are going to sue the company, and blah,blah,blah
I can tell you from experience that women in the workforce are more efficient than men in performing similar jobs, no one can argue the point that there are numerous male idiots getting a lot of money and doing nothing in similar jobs.....the only difference?...they are males....stupid but nonetheless, males!
I have hired women over many men just based on how they presented their capabilities, and after I hired them and held them to those capabilities, they performed above their male counter parts in a shorter amount of time.

all prejudices aside it is a tough argument to make who should make more money instead of similar pay for similar work. Don't start coming back with cops and the army and fireman bullcrap, that too is prejudice driven by the 'macho club'; of course there are limitations on what some women can do, hell there are limitations on what some men can do for the same job......but brain power is quite different than muscle power....I will always hire the best person for the right job and nothing less! I have not been disappointed yet!

no, and by the same token, I don't think they should make less. It all depends on the individual. I don't think there should be a politic (written on not) that makes anyone receive a different pay based on gender. I think that some women should make more money that they are earning. I've had a lot of women bosses and they've been great. And I've seen some very lousy women workers, I don't think that any gender by itself works better than the other.

it doesn't matter to me; my girl works cause she wants to... not cause she have to, i make 90+k a year for what i do..... but i like the fact that if some thing happins to me she can take care of the family. So what i am trying to say is as long as a woman know how to take care of business she can make 60k a year of 160k a year it don't matter..... it should not matter.....

no, men should make more money so their woman doesn't have to work. women should have the choice wheather they want to stay at home or go to work, so men should make more money so they have the opportunity. my mom has to do both and she says it would be so easy to be a stay at home mom and she wishes my dad made enough money. its just a burden on her to do double the work.
