Make sure you exfoliate, then use an astringent to close the pores.

There is a skin brightening moisturizer made by Aveeno that works well. Oily skin is tricky though...I would suggest getting some Proactive and using it religiously and changing your foundation (if you wear it) to one of the mineral make-ups* the best one for Oily skin is made by Neutrogena (Wal-Mart price is about 10.00) and top that with a Rice setting powder (Sally Beauty Supply price is under 6.00) The rice powder wears longer than regular face powder and helps smooth out make-up on oily skin to give you more of a matte finish. Fare Thee Well.

You need to use oil-free, pore-reducing products. DO NOT pick your pimples and don't touch your face without washing your hands first (as when you apply make-up). Use non-comedogenic make-up. Wash with a gentle cleanser and use a soft-scrub daily. Never go to bed without wiping the last trace of dirt or make-up off of your face. Try using NeoStrata gel plus glycolic formulation. If it's too strong for your skin-type you may dilute the gel with some water to make it milder.

Follow the cleansing-toning-moisturizing routine daily.

Use a face pack that suits your skin type at least once a week.

Application of fresh fruits can also help in removing excess of oil.

Use SkinCeuticals. Use the Clarifying cleanser, equalizing toner, blemish control gel and the clarifying clay mask. They are a little more expensive but worth it. I would at least get the cleanser and mask. You can use the mask as a spot treatment event.

to have a youthful, smooth, glowing skin try exfoliating at least once a week. it will get rid of dull dead skin on the surface of the skin. try it with gentle exfoliators though and don't forget to moisturize afterwards and put sunscreen
